I had lots of fun on my Myths and Magic blog tour. As part of the tour I asked Saffy, the main character, some questions. In case you missed them, here is the interview:

Q. What’s your favourite treat?

A. Ice-cream! Especially cookie dough. Mum sometimes lets me have sprinkles on the top too.

Q. Your brother, Harry, is very annoying in the books. But do you secretly like him?

A. He was very sweet when he was little. Harry hates me saying that so I tell everyone! He had all these little baby curls and he used to make cute gurgling sounds. But when he turned three, he changed and now he’s a real pain. Always wants to know what I’m doing and he takes my stuff. I wouldn’t be without him though – well, sometimes I would.

Q. What’s your favourite – cats, dogs or dragons?

That’s not fair! I’ve always loved cats best, but now I’ve met Lily I have to say dragons, don’t I? She’ll sulk otherwise (giggles).

Q. Can you tell us a secret?

A. Later in the series I find out that all my toys are real. It’s just the best thing ever. So you all need to believe in magic and then your toys might come to life too.

Q. The story in Myths and Magic takes place in a museum. In each book, it’s somewhere different. Which setting did you like best?

Definitely colouring book world – it was an amazing place. Everything there was black and white and there were the most fab things. We had to find something to colour the things in with – which really wasn’t as easy as it sounds. But none of the clues have been easy to solve.  

Q. Once you’ve solved all six clues, will that be the end of your adventures with Lily?

No way! They’re only just beginning (grins widely).
